هیدروژناسیون ترکیب Mg-Ni آسیاب شده‌

Authors

Abstract:

Magnesium hydride is one of the hydrogen storage materials in solid state that is taken into consideration due to its high storage capacity. This paper investigates the adsorption of magnesium and nickel catalyst combination in 473 K at 2.0 and 3.5 Mpa. A planetary ball mill is used in order to produce fine particles and to increase adsorption. A volumetric method (Sievert) is used for hydrogen storage analysis. XRD analysis has been performed before and after hydrogenation in order to phase identification. SEM images are used for morphological characterization and particle size distribution. Higher pressure leads to increase of adsorption because it helps to influence of hydrogen. Finally Mg+10%Ni compound showed the adsorption of 2.04% and 3.51% wt. hydrogen in pressures of 2.0 and 3.5 Mpa, respectively. The results showed that Ni is a good catalyst for hydrogen storage with accelerating hydrogen molecules dissociation and assisting to better milling.

تولید و مشخصه یابی کامپوزیت نانوساختار Al-Mg-Zn/ 3 wt.% Al2O3 بوسیله زمینه پیش آسیاب شده توسط آلیاژسازی مکانیکی

Al-Zn-Mg/3 wt-% Al2O3 nanostructured composite powder was synthesized through Mechanical Alloying (MA). At first, the 7014 alloy matrix constituents were milled in a planetary ball mill for 20 hours. Then, 3 wt.% µ-Al2O3 particles were  added to the pre-milled matrix and the nanostructured composite powder was produced at different MA times to investigate the effects of MA time ...

اثر آلایش Ni و Fe در ترکیب ابررسانای YBCO ساخته شده به روش سل ـ ژل

We fabricated YBa2Cu3-xMxO7- d (M=Ni, Fe) bulk samples, with stochiometric amount 0≤x≤0.045 by sol-gel method. The phase analysis and microstructure of specimens were examined by XRD and SEM. The electrical resistivity was measured using standard four probe technique for 77-300K. Investigation of XRD spectrum by MAUD shows Ni and Fe ions substitute in Cu(2) and Cu(1) site, respectively. Transi...

Hydriding / dehydriding of Mg 87 Ni 3 Al 3 Mm 7 ( Mm = La , Ce -

10 Nanocrystalline Mg87Ni3Al3Mm7 hydrides were produced by reactive mechanical milling (RMM) under hydrogen atmosphere. Milling first under argon, and then under hydrogen atmosphere was also carried out in order to study the effect of the gas atmosphere on the microstructure of the products of milling as well as on their hydriding properties. In both cases, the main product of the milling proce...

Concentration of (Fe, Mn, Mg, Ni) in five Species of Fishes Caught in Parangipettai Coastal Waters

The objective of the present study is to determine the accumulation of heavy metals in five of the most commercially important fishes caught in the Parangipettai coastal waters and analyzed for the (Fe, Mn, Mg, Ni) concentrations in the muscles. The results revealed that the Mn and Fe concentrations were the highest; followed by Mg and Ni being the lowest in the all five species of fish tissue....
